Shantel Wilkins

Shantel Wilkins, born and raised in Austin, brings an invaluable perspective and expertise in creating an inclusive culture where differences are celebrated and leveraged. She is a longtime philanthropic investment and public engagement executive with over 25 years of experience in the aerospace, banking and nonprofit foundation sectors. As an architect of “gracious spaces”, a framework designed to create spaces where justice, equity and cultural bias are the center of potentially challenging discussions, Shantel is adept at facilitating uncomfortable, yet healthy conversations that will address and remedy institutional racism and racial/gender bias against ethnically diverse people and communities. Shantel invests her time, talents, and voice in promoting human-centered storytelling. She excels at cultivating environments where diverse thoughts and voices are welcome and valued, a skill she puts to work as the Chief of Staff at Donors of Color Network.
