Marietta Pena

Marietta Pena is a proud Filipino American who migrated from the Philipines 27 years ago. She is an accountant by profession who has had the opportunity to work with corporate, government agencies and different non-profit organizations with various advocacies. Her work for the government, particularly with the Social Services Department, showed her the societal needs of individuals, and gave her the awareness that accounting had a deeper purpose beyond financial statements. Marietta’s stints with the various non-profit organizations provided her with a more profound understanding of the diverse needs of society. She believes that a small contribution of time, talent or treasure will make a lot of difference and she puts that believe to work as the Finance and Admin Manager at DOCN.
