Kathleen Tait is a mission-forward, human rights philanthropist, investor, and activist with an extensive history of work in reproductive justice. She comes from 8 generations of Black Americans and a family of civil rights activists. Her commitment to movement work was honed as she served on the Executive Board of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and as the secretary of Planned Parenthood Global based in Nairobi, Kenya. Kathleen was also Vice President and Co-Portfolio Manager of a growth equity fund at J.P. Morgan with over $1 billion in assets. Her dedication to social justice and activism has never wavered as she brings her wisdom with her throughout each of her leadership and professional experiences in reproductive justice, finance, and human rights. Kathleen brings this expertise to DOCN where she is one of the original pioneers and funders, and the acting Board Chair.
