The Network

OVERVIEW

We are building a community that is changing the face of philanthropy. Our donor members will become donor organizers, moving their peers, friends, and networks to center the priorities of communities of color and to think with a systems frame. We will build upon the strong foundation of a values-aligned, humble, joyous, loving, and learning community, with the knowledge that we are more powerful together than each of us is as an individual.

AS A NETWORK MEMBER, YOU WILL:

  • Learn about and engage directly with racial-justice movements and the philanthropic sector, and foster connections between them.
  • Invest in long-term support of leaders of color and their transformative work to reframe and remake the future.
  • Move cultural, political and other social institutions to be more inclusive of and accountable to communities of color and our lived experiences.
  • Blaze a path for philanthropy to reflect how people of color give and how we resource our communities' priorities.
  • Enter our joyful, powerful community with humility, compassion and a desire to lift each other up as we work together toward a more equitable and just world.

We’re not here to level the playing field, we are creating a whole new field.
